What is FWMS?

FWMS is an open Source Warehouse Management System, in the first phase, we are providing a core basic system which has Inventory Manager,Location Manager and Activity-based Costing/Billing; this supports the management of inventory data,storage retrieval, cross docking and restorage as well as Activity-based billing allows you to calculate billable fees based upon specific activities. For example, a 3PL can assign transaction fees for each receipt, and shipment transaction, as well as fees for storage and other value-added activities.. A web-based front end will display the warehouse inventory and facilitate the entry of orders.

Another big advantage of FWMS is a fully secured web-based client access to Location Manager and Inventory Manager, this help a warehouse company�s client to see and order storage, they can place,receive and pick orders for items, they can also update those orders at a later date, before the actual order date and get reports about their current inventory.
